Beyond that, there’s winter birding at Okhla Bird Sanctuary, free contemporary art at KNMA’s Noida museum, a growing comedy circuit, and trade fairs at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida on the Aqua Line. Live listings are on our things to do in Noida page.

Malls and entertainment
DLF Mall of India, Sector 18. One of NCR’s largest malls, right at Noida Sector 18 station. Its fourth-floor “Leisure Land” has FunCity, Smaaash, Game Palacio and a PVR multiplex. That makes it the default rainy-day or smoggy-day plan for Noida families. Older listings mention a snow park in the mall, but it no longer appears on the mall’s own directory, so call ahead if that’s why you’re going.
KidZania Delhi NCR, Sector 38A. A child-sized city where children aged 4–16 role-play jobs, from pilot to firefighter, and earn play money. It’s in Sector 38A near The Great India Place, not inside Mall of India, as some blogs claim. Children pay about ₹1,350 for three hours, up to ₹1,750 for a full day, and adults pay about ₹650–₹750. Book online, and check the closed day before you go.
Worlds of Wonder, Sector 38A. Noida’s best-known amusement park is temporarily closed for upgrades, but its water park is open from 10 am to 6 pm. Tickets cost ₹599 for adults and ₹399 for children between 90 and 129 cm, and nylon or lycra swimwear is compulsory.
Gardens Galleria and Logix City Centre. Gardens Galleria in Sector 38A sits in the same entertainment cluster. Logix City Centre is near Noida City Centre station on the Blue Line. Both have food courts and multiplexes.
Greater Noida West. Gaur City has a Timezone arcade, where you pay per game on a Powercard instead of an entry fee.

Nature and the outdoors
Okhla Bird Sanctuary. A 3.5 sq km wetland where the Yamuna is held back at the Okhla barrage, on the Delhi–UP border. In winter it fills with migratory waterbirds. The Magenta Line has a station named after it. Go early in the morning, carry binoculars, and expect a small entry fee. Listings commonly give around ₹30 for Indian visitors and a Monday closure, but confirm before you go.
Noida Botanical Garden, Sector 38A. A quiet green space right next to Botanical Garden station. It’s an easy pairing with a mall afternoon.
Surajpur wetland, Greater Noida. Another winter birding spot on the Greater Noida side. Check access timings locally before you make the trip.
Art and culture
KNMA Noida, Sector 126. The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art runs a Noida museum alongside its Saket space, with changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary Indian art. Entry is free, and it’s usually closed on Mondays, so check the hours before you go. A cab is the easiest way to get there.
Stupa 18, Sector 104. A contemporary art gallery, open Wednesday to Monday from 11 am to 8 pm, which makes it a good stop if you’re in the expressway sectors.
For exhibitions across NCR, browse art events.
Food
- Sector 18 and Atta Market: Noida’s busiest food and shopping area, at Noida Sector 18 metro. Expect chaat, momos, rolls and plenty of sit-down restaurants.
- Brahmaputra Market, Sector 29: A long-time local favourite for cheap street food, especially in the evening.
- Noida Haat, Sector 33A: An open-air crafts bazaar with a food plaza that hosts craft fairs from time to time. Check what’s on before you make a special trip.
- Mall of India: A large food court and restaurant floor for groups who can’t agree on what to eat.
Food festivals and pop-ups are listed under food events.
Comedy and nights out
Noida’s comedy scene has grown quickly. The Laugh Casa, on the fourth floor of Rcube Monad Mall in Sector 43, brings in touring comics on weekends. Small rooms such as the Comedy Club in Sector 18 (line-ups from about ₹149) and the Noida Comedy Bar in Hajipur (around ₹169) run cheap line-up nights. Storytelling collectives such as Tape A Tale also host sessions at venues like House of AMP Comedy Club. See comedy events, or our comedy clubs guide for the full NCR picture.
Expos and motorsport in Greater Noida
India Expo Centre & Mart, Knowledge Park II. Greater Noida’s huge exhibition complex hosts trade fairs through the year, such as the IHGF Delhi Fair for handicrafts and big industry shows. Many of these are trade-only or need visitor registration, so read the event page before you go. Knowledge Park II station on the Aqua Line serves the venue. Browse upcoming shows under expos.
Buddh International Circuit. The Formula 1 track near Greater Noida hosted India’s first MotoGP race, MotoGP Bharat, in 2023. The 2024 race was cancelled, and no international race is confirmed for 2026, though talks to bring motorsport back continue.
Two sample Noida weekends
With children (Saturday)
- 10 am: Take the Blue Line to Noida Sector 18 and walk to KidZania in Sector 38A for a three-hour session. Book the slot online the night before.
- 1:30 pm: Lunch at the DLF Mall of India food court.
- 3 pm: An hour of arcade games at FunCity or Game Palacio on the mall’s fourth floor. In summer, swap this for the Worlds of Wonder water park.
- 5 pm: Wind down with a walk in the Botanical Garden next to the metro station before heading home.
Grown-ups (Saturday into Sunday)
- Saturday 4 pm: Browse the current show at KNMA Noida in Sector 126, then cab across to Sector 18.
- 7 pm: Street food at Atta Market, or dinner at the mall.
- 9 pm: A stand-up line-up in Sector 18, or a touring comic at The Laugh Casa in Sector 43.
- Sunday 7 am (winter): Binoculars and chai at Okhla Bird Sanctuary, one stop from Botanical Garden on the Magenta Line.
Both plans keep you within a few kilometres of the Blue Line, so you won’t spend half the day in traffic.
Weekend tips for Noida
- Base yourself near Sector 18. Mall of India, KidZania, Worlds of Wonder, Atta Market and the Botanical Garden are all a short hop apart.
- Use the Aqua Line for Greater Noida. Change at Noida Sector 52 instead of driving the expressway at peak hours.
- Plan birding for winter mornings. Okhla and Surajpur are best from about November to February.
- Check before you travel. Several Noida attractions have closed or partly closed recently, including the Worlds of Wonder rides and the mall snow park.
