Things to Do in Gurgaon: 20 Weekend Ideas (2026 Guide)
Updated 2026-10-04 · 7 min read · by the delhi2go team
Gurgaon’s weekend centres on three places. DLF CyberHub is the go-to for dinner, drinks and stand-up at The Laugh Store. Golf Course Road and 32nd Avenue have comedy rooms and live jazz at The Piano Man. And the Aravallis are close by for morning walks and birding. Kingdom of Dreams, Epicentre and the CyberHub Hard Rock Cafe have all closed, so ignore older guides that list them. For live events this weekend, see our things to do in Gurgaon page.
Getting around Gurugram
- Yellow Line: Guru Dronacharya, Sikanderpur, MG Road, IFFCO Chowk and Millennium City Centre Gurugram are the Gurugram stations. Millennium City Centre is the terminus formerly called HUDA City Centre, renamed in 2023.
- Rapid Metro: This 11-station loop links Sikanderpur with Cyber City, Belvedere Towers, Moulsari Avenue, DLF Phase 1–3 and the Golf Course Road stations (Sector 42–43, Sector 53–54, Sector 54 Chowk and Sector 55–56). It runs from about 6 am to around 10 pm.
- Cabs and autos fill the gaps. Sohna Road, Sector 65 and the day-trip spots south of the city have no metro nearby.
Our Gurgaon area page lists venues by neighbourhood.

Nights out
1. DLF CyberHub. Gurgaon’s best-known dining and drinking strip is free to walk around and sits about 300 m from Cyber City Rapid Metro station. You’ll find brewpubs such as Soi 7 Pub & Brewery, the Caribbean-themed Raasta, plenty of casual dining and a Timezone arcade. See our CyberHub guide.
2. Stand-up at The Laugh Store. NCR’s most established comedy club is on the ground floor of Tower 8C in DLF Cyber City Phase 2, a few minutes from CyberHub. Solo shows by well-known comics are typically ₹599–₹699, and food is served during the show. See our Laugh Store venue page.
3. Comedy on Golf Course Road. The Comedy Theatre at Central Plaza Mall (Sector 53) is a roughly 60-seat room with some of the latest slots in NCR. The Laughter Foyer at Global Foyer Mall (Sector 43) is right by the Sector 42–43 Rapid Metro station. Touring comics also play bigger rooms such as Bellavino at AIPL Joy Central in Sector 65.
4. Budget comedy rooms. For ₹199–₹299, line-up shows at small rooms such as Nerds of Comedy Studio, Guftagu Cafe and Cafe Aurika are a cheap Friday plan. Our comedy clubs guide compares them all.
5. The Piano Man Gurugram, 32nd Avenue. The Gurugram branch of Delhi’s favourite jazz club is at 32nd Avenue in Sector 15, a refurbished dining complex on NH-48. Sets start at 8:30 pm and range from jazz quartets to qawwali and tribute nights. Book on the club’s website, and expect a cover of around ₹500 on some nights. See our Piano Man page.
6. Galleria Market, DLF Phase IV. An old-school open-air market with cafés, bakeries and quick eats, about a kilometre from IFFCO Chowk station. It’s good for a relaxed evening without a mall.
7. The Sector 29 bar strip. Sector 29, next to Leisure Valley, was Gurgaon’s original party street. It has thinned out in recent years: Downtown by Striker is still listed as active, but several other big names are reported closed. Check a bar’s recent listings before you go. IFFCO Chowk is the nearest station.
Outdoors and nature
8. Aravalli Biodiversity Park. A former mining site turned native Aravalli forest off MG Road, with free entry and shaded trails. In winter it’s open from 6 am to 5:30 pm. In summer it opens in two sessions, 5:30–11 am and 3–6:30 pm. Guru Dronacharya (Yellow Line) is the nearest station.
9. Leisure Valley Park. The big green spine of Sector 29 is free and open from early morning until late evening. It doubles as Gurgaon’s event ground, with seasonal fairs such as the SARAS Aajeevika crafts mela and the Dussehra mela.
10. Chakkarpur–Wazirabad Bundh. A car-free linear forest trail running past Sectors 52, 53 and 56 near Golf Course Road. Birders have recorded more than 65 species here, and it’s best at sunrise.
11. Sultanpur National Park. About 16 km from Gurugram, this wetland is one of the region’s best winter birding spots, with migratory birds from roughly November to February. Entry costs a small fee, and timings are seasonal, so check before you drive out.
12. Damdama Lake. A reservoir about 24 km south of the city in the Aravalli foothills, popular for picnics. Boating is available, at around ₹150 for half an hour. Reported entry fees vary, so carry cash.
13. A Sunday farmers’ market. The Gurgaon Organic Farmers Market runs on Sunday mornings, roughly 7 to 11 am. Its venue has moved over the years, so check its page for the current location.
Museums and culture
14. Museo Camera. A museum of photography and vintage cameras on Shri Ganesh Mandir Marg, DLF Phase IV (Sector 28). It’s open 11 am to 7 pm and closed on Mondays. Entry is ₹200 for Indians and ₹300 for foreigners, with an audio guide for ₹150.
15. Heritage Transport Museum, Taoru. A large private museum of Indian transport, from bullock carts and palanquins to vintage cars and railway carriages, on the Bilaspur–Taoru Road off NH-48. It’s open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 7 pm. Tickets cost ₹500 for adults and ₹250 for children under 12 and students, and under-3s go free. It’s a great half-day trip with children. See more ideas in our kids’ weekend guide.
Malls and family time
16. Ambience Mall, NH-48. Gurgaon’s big all-rounder mall, open roughly 10 am to 11 pm, with a Timezone arcade. Moulsari Avenue Rapid Metro station is under a kilometre away.
17. Airia Mall, Sohna Road. Home to one of the three remaining Smaaash gaming centres in NCR. It’s open 11 am to 9:30 pm on weekdays and until 10 pm on weekends. There’s no metro nearby, so take a cab.
18. Worldmark, Sector 65. A newer office-and-dining complex with a cluster of restaurants and bars, handy if you live in the Golf Course Extension or Sohna Road area. It’s best reached by cab.
For family-friendly events, see our kids and family events listings.
Events to watch for
19. Raahgiri Day. The car-free street festival began in Gurugram in 2013, and revival editions still pop up, including one in Gurugram in February 2025. Expect closed roads, cycling, dance and yoga when it returns.
20. Stadium-scale concerts. Leisure Valley has hosted the biggest shows Gurugram has seen, including Ed Sheeran in February 2025. Watch our concerts page and music events for what’s next.
What has closed (ignore older lists)
