Things to do in Lajpat Nagar

Lajpat Nagar's Central Market is one of Delhi's largest shopping streets, and the area is busiest in the weeks before Diwali, Karva Chauth and the wedding season, when stalls, lights and crowds peak. Its events are mostly shopping-led: festive bazaars and street-food crawls. Neighbouring Amar Colony and Lajpat Nagar IV have become a comedy pocket, with small rooms such as The Spotlight Studio and TOT Studio running stand-up line-ups and open mics most evenings. Lajpat Nagar station is an interchange for the Violet and Pink Lines, and it's the easiest way in, since parking near the market is scarce on weekends and during festival weeks.
