Khan Market is a compact, upscale market of bookshops, cafés, restaurants and boutiques beside some of Delhi's leafiest residential colonies. Its events lean literary and low-key: book launches and author signings at the bookshops, wine and dinner pairings, chef pop-ups and small gallery openings, plus Diwali and Christmas shopping evenings when the market is lit up. Lodhi Garden is a five-minute walk for morning yoga, runs and picnics, and India Habitat Centre and the India International Centre are a short ride along Lodhi Road. Khan Market station on the Violet Line opens right at the market; Jor Bagh on the Yellow Line is a short walk.
