Things to do in Janakpuri

Janakpuri, one of West Delhi's largest residential areas, has its own Dilli Haat, the third in the city, run by Delhi Tourism near Janakpuri East metro station. Like the INA original, it hosts craft bazaars, state food stalls and festival melas, and it is the area's main venue for ticketed cultural events. The Janakpuri District Centre adds hotels, bars and Mic On Studio, a small comedy room running daily open mics, and the colonies around Vikaspuri run large community Ramlilas and Durga Pujas each October. Janakpuri West is an interchange between the Blue and Magenta Lines, linking the area to the airport side and to Botanical Garden in Noida.
