Things to do in Defence Colony

Defence Colony's inner market is a compact strip of restaurants, cafés and bakeries that fills up for weekend brunches and evening drinks, and the neighbourhood's commercial galleries, such as Method, host exhibitions and openings through the year. Neighbouring South Extension, across Ring Road, adds big-brand shopping and festive sales, and Kotla Mubarakpur's market sits between the two. Events here are small and neighbourhood-scale: gallery nights, wine and food pairings, workshops, book clubs and live acoustic sets. South Extension station on the Pink Line is the closest, with Lajpat Nagar and Jangpura a short auto ride away.
