Things to do in Chanakyapuri

Chanakyapuri, Delhi's diplomatic enclave, is quiet and green: embassies, wide avenues and some of the city's grandest hotels, including the Taj Palace, The Leela Palace and ITC Maurya, whose ballrooms host conferences, galas, food festivals and New Year's Eve parties. Nehru Park, roughly 80 acres of lawns, hosts SPIC MACAY's open-air Music in the Park concerts, runs and morning yoga. The National Rail Museum, opened in 1977, and the Nehru Planetarium at Teen Murti are among Delhi's best outings for children, and embassy cultural wings run screenings and festivals. Metro access is at the edges: Lok Kalyan Marg (Yellow), Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus (Pink) and Dhaula Kuan (Airport Express).
