Kids in Delhi tomorrow

Delhi NCR has plenty for families once you know where to look. Museums built for children lead the list: the National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri, with its outdoor locomotives, the Nehru Planetarium at Teen Murti, and Shankar's International Dolls Museum on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. Malls in Saket, Vasant Kunj, Noida and Gurgaon run weekend workshops, magic and puppet shows and seasonal carnivals, and amusement parks such as Worlds of Wonder in Noida and Adventure Island in Rohini fill the summer. Cultural venues add children's theatre and storytelling, and the New Delhi World Book Fair at Bharat Mandapam has a dedicated children's pavilion; Delhi Comic Con in December draws families too. Summer and winter camps fill school holidays. Outdoor events are best from October to March.
