The Little Theatre Group (LTG) is one of Delhi's oldest theatre societies. Its auditorium on Copernicus Marg, opposite Doordarshan Bhawan, is a fixture of the Mandi House theatre scene. Inder Lal Dass conceived LTG in 1946, staged its first production in Lahore in 1947 and regrouped the company in Delhi in 1948. In 1949 it hosted India's first All India Drama Festival.
