Things to do in Faridabad

Faridabad, the Haryana city south of Delhi, is best known to event-goers for Surajkund, home of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, a sprawling February fair of craftspeople, folk performers and regional food that has run since the 1980s. Surajkund's grounds and convention facilities also host trade shows, weddings and festivals at other times. In the city, malls, banquet halls and clubs run garba nights, New Year's Eve parties, comedy shows and festive melas, and community Ramlilas are large. The Violet Line runs through Faridabad to Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh), but Surajkund itself needs a cab from Badkhal Mor or Badarpur Border.
