About Habitat World, India Habitat Centre
Habitat World is the conference, banquet and hospitality arm of the India Habitat Centre on Lodhi Road, which IHC bills as India's premier convention centre. It manages more than 24 indoor and outdoor spaces for groups of 10 to about 1,000 people. These include halls such as Gulmohar, Casuarina, Silver Oak, Magnolia, Juniper and Tamarind, plus terraces, the Margosa and Silk Cotton lawns, a business centre, the Habitat Residency guest rooms and the Stein Auditorium. An event listed at 'Habitat World, IHC' is usually a conference, seminar, trade show, product launch or private function organised by an outside group. These are different from IHC's own curated cultural programmes, which are run by Habitat Programmes. The Convention Centre is reached through Gate 3 on Lodhi Road, which has a drop-off point for cars.
