About Dilli Haat, INA
Dilli Haat INA is Delhi Tourism's open-air craft and food bazaar on Sri Aurobindo Marg, opposite INA Market. Opened in March 1994 on about six acres, it was set up by Delhi Tourism with the NDMC and the Union ministries of textiles and tourism, and is laid out like a traditional village haat. Craft stalls are allotted to artisans from across India for 15 days at a time, so the handlooms, jewellery, woodwork and metalware on sale keep changing. Food stalls serve dishes from different states, from Nagaland and Sikkim to Maharashtra and Gujarat. An open stage, an exhibition hall and themed bazaars bring regular cultural programmes and festivals, and the venue hosted India's first Comic Con in February 2011. It is a short walk from Dilli Haat - INA metro station.
