SARAS Aajeevika Mela 2026

The Ministry of Rural Development has scheduled the SARAS Aajeevika Mela 2026 at Leisure Valley Park, Gurugram, from 22 October to 6 November 2026. The 17-day mela promotes rural livelihoods and women entrepreneurship through direct market access for Self-Help Groups. It will feature handlooms, handicrafts and organic products.

Open ground

Leisure Valley is a public park of about 36 acres (15 hectares) in Sector 29, Gurugram. Its large open ground is the city's main site for big outdoor concerts and melas. Promoters list it as Leisure Valley Ground or as HUDA Ground(s), Sector 29, after the Haryana Urban Development Authority that developed the land. IFFCO Chowk on the Yellow Line is the closest metro station, roughly a 10–15 minute walk. Millennium City Centre Gurugram is a little farther. Listings use "HUDA Ground, Sector 29" and "Leisure Valley Ground" for the same site, so don't be thrown if your ticket names one and a map shows the other. Big concerts here are open-air standing events. Wear shoes you can stand in for hours and check the organiser's banned-items list before you go.
