The Qutub Minar complex in Mehrauli is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, inscribed in 1993, built around the 72.5-metre sandstone minaret that Qutbu'd-Din Aibak began in 1199 and his successor Iltutmish raised further. Entry is ASI-ticketed; you can book online through the ASI's ticketing portal or buy at the counter. Concert and festival tickets are sold separately by the organiser. You can't climb the minaret, as its interior is closed to the public; visitors see it from the grounds. Qutab Minar metro station is about 1.5 km away; take an auto or e-rickshaw, and book a cab home after evening shows.
