10 events matching right now across Delhi NCR β mostly festival (6), food (2), dance (2). 3 are free.
Durga Puja 2026 in Delhi runs from Maha Shashthi on Friday 16 October to Bijoya Dashami on Wednesday 21 October. Maha Saptami falls on 17 October, Maha Ashtami (with Kumari Puja and Sandhi Puja) on Monday 19 October and Maha Navami on Tuesday 20 October, according to Drik Panchang's Durga Puja calendar for New Delhi; individual pujas may follow their own panjika timings. Chittaranjan Park is the epicentre. Its best-known pujas, at B-Block, Kali Mandir, the Co-operative Ground, the Mela Ground and Navapalli (Pocket 40), are famous for elaborate pandals, evening cultural programmes and Bengali food stalls, and draw crowds from across the NCR. The city's puja tradition is older than New Delhi itself: the Delhi Durga Puja Samiti's Kashmere Gate puja began in 1910, and Timarpur's in 1914. More than 800 pujas were counted in Delhi as far back as 2011, from resident-association pandals in Dwarka and Mayur Vihar to large community pujas in Noida and Gurgaon. Ashtami and Navami evenings are the most crowded; Dashami brings sindoor khela and immersion processions. This page lists Durga Puja events, cultural nights and pandal guides as they're announced.

- For CR Park, take the Magenta Line to Nehru Enclave or Greater Kailash, or the Violet Line to Nehru Place; roads inside the colony get jammed and parking is scarce in the evenings.
- Visit pandals in the afternoon or after 11 pm to avoid the worst queues, especially on Ashtami and Navami.
- Food stalls are half the experience; many take UPI, but carry some cash for smaller stalls.
- If you want to offer anjali, go on the morning of Ashtami; timings are posted by each puja committee.
- Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to remove them near the altar at some pandals.
