Tickets and passes

Comic Con India lists two pass types for Delhi 2026:

Pass Price Valid What’s included
Single Day Pass ₹1,199 Saturday 5 or Sunday 6 Dec An exclusive manga, a limited-edition Absolute Batman poster, a commemorative Chacha Chaudhary x Comic Con India bag
Superfan Pass ₹3,499 Both days All of the above, plus an exclusive Superfan box of goodies

Where to buy: Comic Con India’s official ticketing page lists BookMyShow, District, Swiggy Scenes and its own shop among the sellers. Stick to these, because fake “discounted pass” sellers can turn up on social media.

The fine print worth knowing

  • Age: everyone aged 3 and above needs a pass. You must be 18 or older to buy passes, and minors must come with an adult.
  • No refunds or date changes. Passes are non-refundable and can’t be transferred between days.
  • Entry: bring your e-ticket or SMS plus a valid photo ID. Swap them for a wristband at the box office (or the Superfan counter) between 11 am and 7:30 pm.
  • Re-entry is allowed until 7:30 pm with your wristband on. Single Day holders can re-enter only on their booked day. Don’t damage the wristband, as torn bands are refused.
  • Food: no outside food. Personal water bottles are allowed, as is baby food for small children. There are paid food counters inside, and the District listing mentions veg and non-veg options with no alcohol.
  • Not allowed: liquids beyond water, alcohol, cigarettes and banned substances. Costumes and props go through security like everything else.
  • Cameras are allowed through security. Always ask before photographing someone.

Our Comic Con Delhi hub will carry any updates on schedules, guest signings and side events as they’re announced.

What happens at Comic Con

If you’ve never been, think of it as a two-day pop-culture fair: part bazaar, part concert, part costume party.

  • Guests and panels: the first international guest announced for Delhi 2026 is Ant Williams, the comic artist known for drawing Spider-Man, the X-Men, Deadpool, Batman, Superman and Judge Dredd for 2000 AD, Marvel and DC. More guests are “coming soon”. Indian creators usually make up a big part of the line-up.
  • Cosplay: Comic Con India bills its competition as the country’s biggest. This season it promises daily costume contests with bigger prizes.
  • Main stage: performances, panels, launches and the cosplay finals.
  • Gaming and VR zones: console and PC play areas, tournaments and brand experiences.
  • Merch and indie comics: official merchandise, Indian comic publishers, artists’ booths, manga, collectibles and fan art. This is where your money goes.
  • Installations: photo-op sets and immersive brand zones.

Cosplay tips for Comic Con Delhi

Whether you’re going full armour or just wearing cat ears, a little planning helps.

  1. Test-wear your costume for two to three hours at home. If it pinches, chafes or falls off, it’ll be worse in a crowd.
  2. Build props from foam, EVA or cardboard. Everything goes through security, and soft, light props are far less hassle than anything that looks like a real weapon.
  3. Plan for December weather. Days are mild in early December, but the halls can get warm and the evenings get cold. Wear thin layers under the costume, and bring a jacket for the trip home.
  4. Carry a repair kit: safety pins, double-sided tape, a mini glue stick, needle and thread, spare elastic and make-up for touch-ups.
  5. Comfortable shoes, or insoles inside your costume boots. You’ll be standing and walking for hours.
  6. Arrive in costume if you can, since there’s limited space to change. Use a backpack for your street clothes.
  7. Register early for contests. Check Comic Con India’s cosplay page for sign-up details for the Delhi contests.
  8. Know the rules. Comic Con India runs a “Cosplay is not consent” policy with zero tolerance for harassment, so ask before photos, hugs or touching. If anyone makes you uncomfortable, find crew in STAFF or CREW tees, security, or the show office.

What to bring

  • Your e-ticket or SMS and a valid photo ID. You need both to collect your wristband.
  • A refillable water bottle. Personal water bottles are the one drink allowed in.
  • A light backpack, with room for merch and posters. A poster tube helps if you’re buying prints.
  • A power bank. You’ll be filming the cosplay contests and the main stage.
  • A mix of cash and UPI. Networks can get patchy inside crowded halls.
  • A jacket. It may be warm inside, but early December evenings in Delhi are cold on the way home.
  • Hand sanitiser and tissues, for the food court and washrooms.

Saturday or Sunday: which day to go?

If you can only make one day, consider what matters most to you:

  • Saturday 5 December is the first day, so it gives you the best shot at limited and exclusive merch before it sells out. It’s the natural pick for collectors.
  • Sunday 6 December is the last day. Go if your plans are more about soaking up the cosplay and the atmosphere than shopping.
  • Either day: the organisers’ FAQ notes that the first half of each day is less busy than the second, so arrive early whichever day you choose.

Superfan Pass holders get both days and the freedom to re-enter on either. If you’re on the fence, it’s worth it only if you plan to spend real time at the panels and contests across both days.

Getting there

  • Metro (best): Okhla NSIC station on the Magenta Line is right next to the grounds. From central Delhi, take the Yellow Line to Hauz Khas or the Violet Line to Kalkaji Mandir and change to the Magenta Line.
  • Driving: the District listing mentions free parking at the venue, but it fills up quickly on Saturday afternoon, and the Okhla roads jam. If you’re in a big costume, a cab drop-off is easiest.
  • Going home: the exit rush peaks after the main-stage events end in the evening. Hang back 20 minutes, or walk out early to beat the queue at Okhla NSIC station.

How to plan your day

  • Arrive by 11–11:30 am on Saturday to get through security before the queues build. The organisers’ own FAQ notes that the first half of each day is less busy than the second.
  • Shop the merch first if there’s something specific you want, because limited items sell out.
  • Check the main-stage schedule when it’s released closer to the date, and plan the rest of your day around the sessions and contests you want to see.
  • Set a budget before you walk in. Food counters inside are paid, and merch adds up faster than you’d think. Decide your must-buys first.
  • With children: the crowds can be heavy, and some content is for older audiences. Hold hands in the main halls and agree on a meeting point. There’s limited seating, and the FAQ says there are no dedicated rooms for breastfeeding.
